Find the best time to travel

Krabi falls is a tropical destination so the weather is always on the warm and sunny side except for a few months during the year when it is wet due to monsoon rains. The warm and dry season is from November to April and the rainy season is from May to October. Most people prefer to travel to Krabi during the dry season but if you don’t mind a few rainy days you can even travel during the monsoon when the hotels and resorts such as Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort would be having off-peak rates due to the fact that a fewer number of people coming to the country. If you are travelling to Krabi from another country you need to find your way to Thailand and then find appropriate transport to get to Krabi. On the other hand, if you are already in Thailand,  then you just need to get on a bus or a train which will take you to Krabi – and this is not a difficult task at all. There are several ways of public transport you can opt for or you can take a cab and get driven to Krabi or you could even drive to Krabi yourself. The season you are travelling will also determine what you need to pack for your vacation in the tropical city. Even if it is during warm dry weather or the rainy season, one thing you must always carry is sunscreen and insect repellent. You should also pack a cardigan or a coverup so you can go to temples and other religious locations without an issue. If you are travelling during the wet season make sure to carry an umbrella or a raincoat as the weather can be quite unpredictable and you might experience rainfall during sightseeing.

 Look at hotels and accommodation

Once you have decided on the time to visit the destination you need to start looking at hotels. If you are looking forward to travelling during the peak months from December to March it is best to make reservations a few months in advance as there will be bookings from around the globe. The prices are also much higher during these months as the demand is high and all the hotels and resorts become more expensive closer to the travel date so it is best to make plans well in advance in order to avoid any disappointment and also to make sure you do not pay anything extra due to last-minute bookings.

 Look into the main attractions

When you are looking at attractions consider the different locations in the Krabi province such as Ao Nang. Things to do here vary from one location to another and while there are many temples you can visit during your trip, there are also some museums and exhibitions centres you might find interesting too. You have already accounted for the major payments so you need to add food, transport, tickets and entrance fees for attractions and an allocation for shopping.
